Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept Visa and MasterCard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. If you do not wish to pay online, you may send your card information via phone, fax or by post.

If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us and we will correct the mistake.

When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Our Decision:

We reserve the right to determine the eligibility of a price match request and to make the final decision. Our decision regarding a price match request is final and binding.

Shipping And Handling

Our carriage charge may be more for highlands/islands within the UK. We will contact you if the shipping charge differs from what this website quotes you. We will not proceed without contacting you first. For security reasons, a land phone number must be provided where a delivery address differs from the invoice address. If this is not possible, please get in touch and we will advise.

Delivery Schedule

Delivery schedules can vary. We aim to ship to you within approximately 1 working days. We will contact you if the delivery time will be significantly longer.

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Tax Charges

For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 20% VAT is added. If you are VAT exempt, you can select 'None of the Above' in the country list and VAT will not be applied to your order. Please provide VAT exempt number if applicable.

Credit Card Security

When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Returns Policy

Cancellation & Returns Information

Cancellation procedure

You have the right to cancel your order at any time up to 7 working days after the day on which you receive the goods you ordered. You must take reasonable care of the goods whilst in your possession and they must be returned to us, or collection arrangements made, promptly at your cost. If we collect the item from you, you will be charged the cost of collection which will be notified to you at the time of cancellation.

You must inform us of the cancellation of the order, in writing to Chandlery Direct, Mancetter Road, Nuneaton, Warwickshire CV10 0RZ.

If you decided to cancel' special order' products for we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the order price.

This is not intended to be a full statement of all your rights under the Distance Selling Regulations. Full details of your rights under the Distance Selling Regulations are available from your Local Citizens' Advice Bureau or your Local Authority's Trading Standards Office.

If your products have already been delivered, then you will need to follow our returns procedure

Returns procedure

We hope you will be pleased with your purchase. Should you wish to return anything bought from us, we will be happy to refund or exchange a product provided it is in fully resaleable condition. Returns should be made within a reasonable time (usually 28 days) and in original, undamaged packaging.

If we find that the product has not been returned to us in fully resaleable condition, we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item, or deduct up to 50% of the original selling price from the refund amount.

Returns can be made through either of these options:

1. Returns via courier collection

Email enquiries@springwoodhaven.co.uk or telephone 02476 393676, quoting your invoice or order number, the reason for the return and whether you want a refund or a replacement. We will arrange for the courier to come to collect the product you wish to return. You will be charged for this collection service and will be informed of the charges at the time of request.

2. Returns via Onboard Energy shop

Simply take the invoice and the product you wish to return or exchange to the shop and inform us that you bought the product online.

Please note: We will refund the price of the item to the purchaser or exchange the product once it is received by us. A refund of the delivery charge will be given in the instance of incorrect, damaged or faulty goods.

Products we are unable to refund or exchange

We are unable to offer a refund or exchange on personalized, or made-to order or goods unless they are faulty.

Delivery charges

We will refund your original delivery charge when a product is faulty or damaged, but not when a product is simply unwanted.

None of the above conditions affect your statutory rights.
